Some of the strategies offered through Halbert Wealth Management are only available to investors who meet certain standards as defined by regulatory agencies. The most common type is the accredited investor.

Our accredited-only strategies can help you diversify your portfolio — without being highly correlated with the stock and bond markets. These investments seek to achieve consistent risk-adjusted returns while offering downside protection, and can be used to produce income.

Examples of strategies we have offered to our accredited investors include:

  • Insurance-linked Strategies
  • Private Real Estate Lending
  • Credit Strategies

What is an accredited investor? An accredited investor is generally someone with a net worth of at least $1 million (not including primary residence) or annual income of at least $200,000 for the last two years (or joint income with your spouse in excess of $300,000 for the last two years). You don't have to provide us with detailed personal financial information or even your total net worth. You simply need to confirm that your net worth and/or income meets this level.

If you are an accredited investor and you have not confirmed this with us, you need to let us know ASAP. We can only share information on these specialized strategies once you confirm you are accredited.
